Grab a bite, take a spin & win a treat!

A summer celebration with flavour, fun, and fantastic prizes – her for you! Join us as at Woodgrove Centre from August 11–15 for our Taste & Spin Food Festival — a five-day celebration of our Food and Specialty Food retailers. Spend $15 at any food vendor and take a spin for a chance to win Gift Cards and other prizes!

When & Where:
August 11–15, 2025 | 12 – 2 PM | Woodgrove Centre Food Court

 Here’s how it works:
1. Come to the Food Court between 12 – 2 PM. Spend $15 or more (including tax) at any food or specialty food retailer.
2. Present your same-day receipt to the Taste & Spin table.
3. Take one spin of the prize wheel for a chance to win Gift Cards, delicious treats and other prizes!

Plus, we’re proud to partner with the Nanaimo Foodshare Society, who will be onsite supporting the event and showcasing their amazing work in the community. We will donate $2 to their cause every time you spin (up to a maximum quantity).

Taste & Spin – Prize Wheel Rules & Conditions

  1. Eligibility to Spin:
    • Customers must present a same-day receipt of $15 or more (including tax) from any Food or Specialty Food retailer at Woodgrove Centre. E-receipts not accepted.
    • Only one spin per person per day is allowed, regardless of multiple receipts or purchases.
    • Receipt must be shown to event staff at the activation table prior to spinning.
  2. Prize Redemption:
    • All prizes are available while supplies last. Limited quantities of prizing available daily.
    • If the wheel lands on a prize that is no longer available, the customer will receive the prize closest in position on the wheel (left or right) that is still in stock.
    • Prizes cannot be exchanged, transferred, or substituted for cash.
  3. General Rules:
    • Must be 13 years or older to participate. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
    • Woodgrove Centre retail staff and immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
    • Participants may be asked to provide name, email, and city as part of a customer engagement initiative.
    • By participating, guests agree to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes related to the event.
    • The event team reserves the right to deny participation if rules are not followed or if receipts appear invalid, altered, or fraudulent.
    • Woodgrove Centre reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time without notice.
